Locations

Our two teaching Studios are both linked to Neill's work. The first in Aylesbury, Bucks shares a building with his industry company Millennium FX. The second in Falmouth, Cornwall is near his home and private workshop. These locations are significant to the 7-week courses they host; Make-Up FX & Prosthetics Creation in Aylesbury benefits from access to the Millennium FX workshops, where students can observe the techniques they're learning in an industry context, and Creative & Character Make-Up in Falmouth nurtures students' creativity amidst the artistic heritage of Cornwall, where Neill focuses on his character design work and develops new techniques. Both venues run short courses in various subjects.

AYLESBURY...

Aylesbury is in Buckinghamshire in the south east of England, 40 miles west of London and 65 miles south east of Birmingham. It is within an hour’s drive of Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports and is easily accessible by road, car and train. The town has excellent amentiies for shopping and leisure activities and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK.

Our teaching studio is an integral part of the Millennium FX workshop which is within easy reach of plenty of food outlets and is next door to a large Tesco store. It is roughly a half-hour walk or 6-minute drive into Aylesbury town centre.

It is straightforward to get to Cornwall via road and rail, and Newquay Airport has daily flights from London Gatwick and other destinations. See how to get to Falmouth here and Cornwall here

The Studio sits among galleries, craft boutiques and a busy arts community. Falmouth’s university campuses have strong film, art and media faculties. For generations artists have retreated to Cornwall to be inspired by the sea, landscape and history.
