Andrew teaches specilalist hair work on our Creative & Character Make-Up course. He spent over 20 years as head of the wigs and makeup department at The Birmingham REP Theatre and created wig, hair and prosthetic makeup designs for hundreds of productions.
Bianca teaches our Summer Schools for 14-18 year olds and is also our Aylesbury studio assistant, supporting the tutors and helping the Makeup FX & Prosthetics Creation students through their 7-week courses.
Dan teaches Make-Up FX and Prosthetics Creation. He started his make-up career at 14 in New York City, working in local theatres. He worked as key make-up artist on such films as Frankenhooker, Brain Damage and Basketcase 2.
Ian teaches our 7-week Makeup FX & Prosthetics Creation course. An all-rounder with skills across the board in the subject of screen prosthetics, Ian’s career began in the mid 1980s on films such as Little Shop of Horrors, Gothic and When the Whales Came.
Laura teaches various courses for us including specialist bespoke classes for the education sector, being a qualified teacher and assessor. She trained at The London College of Fashion, gaining a degree in makeup and special effects for film & TV.
Michele has been in the industry over 20 years and teaches on the courses in our Falmouth studio. She started her career in 1995 as a self-taught SFX and creative makeup artist and worked her way up into many high-profile jobs.
Neill is involved in key aspects of our 7-week courses and teaches short courses. He has won 12 major awards for his work on shows such as Doctor Who, The Catherine Tate Show, Bodies and Being Human.
Nicola teaches specialist body art classes on our Creative & Character Make-Up course. She is one half of Nicotine Body Painters, an artistic duo with fellow body artist Justine Darwent, with whom she travels extensively to paint.
Richard teaches on our 7-week Make-Up FX and Prosthetics Creation course as well as other courses. He is a specialist in hyper-realism and his fastidious attention to detail makes for superbly lifelike work.
