Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated September 2025

OVERVIEW

Modern slavery is a crime. It involves the violation of fundamental human rights where one person deprives another person of their liberty to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. This can take the forms of slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. The number of people in such forced labour has risen in recent years.

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2015

Neill Gorton Prosthetics Studio has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and has an internal Anti-Slavery Policy to enforce this. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to operating systems that ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our own business or in our supply chains. Our own business practice is transparent in this regard, as is our approach to detecting and tackling modern slavery in our supply chains, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We expect the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers, and business partners, and expect them to hold their own suppliers to those same standards also. This applies to all persons working directly for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including third-party representatives and business partners.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR ANTI-SLAVERY POLICY

The Company has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it. The Company has primary and day-to-day responsibility for implementing it, monitoring its use and effectiveness, dealing with queries about it, and auditing internal control systems and procedures to ensure they are effective in countering modern slavery.
