Our first few educators for The Prosthetics Event 2019 have been announced – and we are so excited to share the news!
Demoing on the Gorton Studio stand will be two fantastic artists – Francesco Fabiani and Anthony Davies. Francesco moved to the UK in 2012 to work for companies such as Coulier Creatures, Millennium FX, Creatures Inc., KM EFFECTS and David White. His lengthy list of film industry credits includes: ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’, ‘Artemis Fowl’, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘Justice League’, ‘Ghost Stories’, ‘The Mummy’, ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ and ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ to name only a few. He often collaborates with other artists and loves to experiment with techniques, tools, and materials – be sure to catch him at work and ask him questions about his techniques. Anthony is part of the Millennium FX team, working closely with Neill Gorton in Cornwall where he sculpts and moulds character prosthetics, and helps develop products for Neill’s Materials and MFX Warehouse. Just a few of Anthony’s film and TV credits include the upcoming ‘Devil’, ‘The Outpost’, ‘Boys from County Hell’, ‘Krypton’, ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Worzel Gummidge’, ‘Minamata’, ‘All is True’, ‘Victor Frankenstein’, ‘Red Dwarf’ XI and XII, ‘Urban Myths’ and ‘Doctor Who’. He shares his knowledge teaching bespoke Gorton Studio courses and writing tutorials for Prosthetics Magazine, as well as demoing – and answering your technical questions as he works!
And that’s just the Gorton Studio stand! Other educators whose profiles you can check out on the website include Shaunna Harrison, Stuart Bray, Victoria Bancroft-Perry, Neil Morrill, Chloe Muton-Phillips, Suzi Battersby, Kate Benton, Don Lanning, and of course, Neill Gorton himself.
But – here’s the exciting thing – these are only the first few educators in store for you. The #TPE2019 educators will be announced on the Event page – but we don’t want you all to be overcome so we’re announcing them gradually! There are LOTS of announcements still to come so be sure to keep an eye on the Educators page of the website, on Facebook, and on Instagram to keep updated with the amazing list of talent who’ll be there to teach YOU.
See you there!
