Do you recognise this beautiful makeup?
Morgan Kimber is a 2014 graduate of our 7-week course and is now a very established, successful industry artist. Morgan created this at last year’s Event and it has since been on the cover of Prosthetics Magazine and evolved into the face of #TPE2019!
Morgan is a senior member of the creative staff at Millennium FX Ltd.‘s Cornwall workshop. She began her career in 2014 as a silicone trainee, after completing the 7-week Makeup FX & Prosthetics Creation course at Neill Gorton Prosthetics Studio. Since then she has moved on to sculpting, moulding and working as a prosthetic application artist on set.
Her film and TV credits include the upcoming ‘Devil’, ‘The Outpost’, ‘Boys from County Hell’, and ‘Minamata’, along with ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘All is True’, ‘The Forest’, ‘Another Mother’s Son’, 2019 comedy ‘Long Shot’ starring Charlize Theron and Andy Serkis, ‘Curfew’, ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Red Dwarf’, and ‘Tracy Ullman’s Show.’
Morgan demonstrates regularly at events, contributes educational material to Prosthetics Magazine and last year began teaching for Gorton Studio, putting 10 teenagers through their paces learning silicone skills on a 5-day Advanced Summer School!
Her career is a wonderful example of where talent, dedication and a the right attitude can lead you – she’ll be at The Prosthetics Event on November 23rd demoing on the Cantor and Nissel Ltd stand so if you’re attending, please go and say hello, ask her questions and watch her work!
We’re proud to bring the best visiting specialists in the business into our teaching studio during the 7-week course, and the work of two regulars appears in this makeup: lenses by Cantor and Nissel Ltd and dentures by Fangs-FX, both of whom will also be at the Event!
