We’re really excited to announce this great 2-day course with Sangeet Prabhaker:
Prosthetic Application & Colouring Techniques for Black & Ethnic Minority Skin Tones
This skill is not widely taught, but demand within the industry is increasing along with recognition of its importance. The course will be held on June 15th & 16th in Aylesbury, £450 inc. VAT. You’ll learn to apply and colour silicone appliances on black and ethnic skin tones, including silicone pigmentation techniques with base materials, running flat mould pieces, and painting silicone faces. Detailed sessions on theory, techniques and materials with demonstrations and hands-on work. Silicone faces for practising on will be supplied and you can take them home with you afterwards.
Sangeet has close to 15 years’ industry experience. He’s known for his work on productions such as Game of Thrones and The Dark Knight Rises and is one of a small number of prosthetics artists from an ethnic minority working in the film and TV industry. We’re delighted to have him teaching at Gorton Studio!
