Neill Gorton

In the past four years Neill has won a total of 7 major awards for his work on shows such as Doctor Who, The Catherine Tate Show and Being Human, please see the 'Awards' page for full details.

Neill has been in the business for 22 years, has worked with prolific directors such as Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott and on famous faces like Johnny Depp and Demi Moore. Please see the pages entitled 'Neill Gorton's Credits'for his full CV.

Neill will be involved in a number of key aspects on the seven week courses. He will teach the entire content of the Weekend Workshops himself as well as all the Masterclasses and Seminars.
Lauge Voight

Lauge studied at the London College of Fashion and set up his own company in his native Denmark in 1998. This saw him work on a variety of feature films such as 'Anja efter Viktor', 'At Kende Sandheden' and 'De Gr¯nne Slagtere.' He also has many Danish television and theatre credits as well as commercials for companies such as Kellogg's and Kodak.

He came back to the UK in 2004 to work on the film 'Regeneration' with Geoff Portass, and for Crawley Creatures on television shows 'Dragons', 'Life before Dinosaurs' and 'British Isles: A Natural History'.

Lauge's work for Millennium FX includes 'Doctor Who', 'Dead Ringers', 'Celebrity Swap', 'Titty Bang Bang' and 'Elizabeth the Virgin Queen'.

Having recently relocated back to Denmark, we are delighted that Lauge comes back to the UK especially to teach at Gorton Studio.
Jordu Schell

Jordu is based in Los Angeles California, where he has been a designer of film and television characters for over 15 years. He has worked on numerous projects including: 'Men in Black', 'Planet of the Apes' (2001), 'Batman Returns', 'Edward Scissorhands', 'The X-Files Movie', 'Predator II', 'Galaxy Quest', 'Evolution', 'My Favourite Martian', 'Alien: Resurrection', 'Babylon 5 - The Series', 'The Guyver', 'Bedazzled', 'Scary Movie 3' and many more.

As well as teaching at his own highly successful facility in the USA, Schell Sculpture Studio, Jordu has also taught at a multitude of other respected establishments including Tippett Studios, WETA, Blizzard Entertainment, The Monster Makers, Moby Games, Creature Effects, Specter Studios, Vancouver Design, Joe Blasco, ILM and Empire Academy of Makeup.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential practitioners in the world in this field, we are delighted that Jordu will be teaching specialist, intensive classes at Gorton Studio.

Peter Tindall

Peter has been a prosthetics technician for 8 years and has worked in many areas of the film industry including miniatures, props, costume fabrication, mouldmaking and creature fabrication. He has worked for numerous companies such as Cinesite Europe, Cutting Edge Effects, Warner Brothers, Artem and Millennium FX. His film credits include, Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roberto Benigni’s Pinocchio and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
 
Peter also has extensive teaching experience as both a Visiting Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth on their Modelmaking for Design and Media degree course and at the Westwood School of Art and Design in Scarborough.
