Before following the simple application process for the seven week courses, please make sure you are confident that you have:

A keen interest in the field
Proof of basic creative ability: This can be in any medium; painting, sculpture or any three dimensional crafts for example

Self Assessment Entry

Please make sure you are confident that the following points relevant to your class apply to you before booking:

Prosthetic Application: Some experience in, or a working knowledge of basic make-up techniques, either through professional experience as a make-up artist, completing some training in make-up or even involvement in the make-up for an amateur theatre production.
Prosthetic Application: Confidence in working on another person’s face sensitively and the handling of basic make-up tools
Mask Making & Creature Design Fundamentals: Some basic practice in sculpting and confidence in working with clay and sculpting tools
Advanced Creature Design: Completion of a basic course in creature design such as Mask Making & Creature Design Fundamentals or some professional/ industry experience
Basic Entry

Minimum age of 18
Sound understanding of spoken English and basic conversational use of English
Bespoke Courses

These require basic entry requirements only, but with the clients’ confidence that their chosen participants will benefit from the course we have designed for them.
International Students

The Studio welcomes all international students who have valid visas to be in the UK. Regrettably due to new immigration law however, we are not able to take students from outside the European Union who require visas specifically to study here. We hope this situation changes very soon.
