14 grads of our famous 7-week course worked on up-coming movie The Titan

A whopping 14 graduates of our 7-week Makeup FX & Prosthetics Creation course worked for our award-winning sister company Millennium FX on sci-fi thriller The Titan, in UK cinemas from April 13th.

This is a great example of how our longest-established, 100% practical course kickstarts careers; it delivers an intensive, comprehensive grounding in screen prosthetics that prepares you for work as a junior film industry technician in just seven weeks, with technical learning at a higher level than equivalent degree courses. Following this training, you can immediately seek professional freelance work - on this movie our ex-students performed the roles of prosthetic makeup artists, prosthetic effects technicians, art finishers, mould makers and silicone runners for example.

This popular course is taught in the same building as Millennium FX giving students a first-hand view of a professional FX workshop, and those who were on the course during the build for The Titan will have seen it developing.

The movie stars Sam Worthington and Taylor Schilling and is set in a future where global war is tearing the human race apart. The tense plot sees a military family take part in a ground-breaking experiment of genetic evolution and space exploration. Watch the official trailer below.

Other recent graduate film credits include Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Alien: Covenant, Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast, Guardians of the Galaxy and Snow White and the Huntsman. See more here.

Congratulations to the team from Millennium FX who worked on The Titan - we’ll be first in the queue on opening night!
